We continue this Drawgirl tutorial by explaining and illustrating its thirteenth step.

By now you should be admiring the ingenuity of this pastellist with his/her skill and masterey of this marvelous and unique technique. The color section is proceeding in a similar manner as did the tonal section. The simple, but effective, straight line approach, followed by blending is shrewd.

Notice that whether tonal or color, the stokes are applied following the contours of subject - face planes, body planes, and so forth. The craftiness is in the ease, straightforward together with logic of application.
